Pentatonic Power
Review

Pentatonic Power is a
good way to learn how to play lead guitar. They look into the rock staple the pentatonic scale. If you are going to play rock guitar then this is a
good guitar lesson package. This is a day by day instructional course with over 270 guitar tab notation examples. Pentatonic Powers will
use specific examples on how to correctly integrate licks into your own guitar leads. Pentatonic
Power will teach you jump off points to create leads and licks of your own. There is a section that goes
into the mechanics of string bending when where and how to use this skill. Power Pentatonic also
goes into trills, pull offs and hammer ons. They teach the styling’ s of guitar masters like Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn
and John Scofield. Pentatonic Power teaches the five most commonly used fingering for the pentatonic scales.
Plus there different exercises specifically designed for ear training. All in all this is a very good
guitar lesson program. If you are looking to get a great working knowledge of the pentatonic
guitar scales, and being the most widely used scale in modern music you would be crazy not to want
to learn about this guitar scale. Pentatonic Power would not be one of the best places to
acquire that knowledge.
